The Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC) has named 15 companies as finalists for the 2021 Focus on the Future awards. PartsBadger is a finalist in the category of GROWTH. The growth category recognizes the success of companies finding new opportunities, entering new markets or developing new products.
Additional categories include: Talent, Equity, Innovations, and Livability.
Expansion of the Business:
In November 2018, PartsBadger moved from a 2,500 sq ft office space facility in Mequon to their current 15,000 sq ft facility in Cedarburg. The current facility is a blend of all operations, including domestic CNC Machining capacity. This move gave PartsBadger the ability to expand operations and manufacturing in Wisconsin. Since 2018, PartsBadger has added multiple CNC machines to increase output and has additional expansion plans to add another 5,000 sq ft of production space to the same Cedarburg facility in 2021-22.
Profit Growth:
From 2016 to the end of 2020, PartsBadger has bolstered a revenue increase of 5,507%!
Employment Growth or Retention Efforts:
Since 2016, PartsBadger has grown from a single full-time employee to a fully staffed organization of various departments. The growth rate of the company has allowed PartsBadger to expand these various departments over-time, including but not limited to: Sales, Marketing, Administration, Engineering, and Production. PartsBadger has plans to add 26 employees by 2023.
Additionally, PartsBadger has implemented a professional development plan for employees. This plan allows them to express career advancement desires and goals. PartsBadger evaluates those goals and begins the training and development of the skills necessary for the employee to reach that goal while remaining with PartsBadger. We have also developed Individual Assessments that are completed by management every quarter to ensure every employee is continuing to learn and grow within their current role.
